Paperless Wedding Invitation – The New Trend

Are you getting married this year ? Are you getting confused as to how to make that lasting impression when you send the formal wedding invitation?

First of all, finding the right paper-less invitation is a pain. You will end up spending weeks in choosing the details, the right vendor, the exact text – and end up spending a huge amount of time and money on the same. Most guests just open a paper invitation when they receive it, once, bookmark your dates or put a reminder – and it all gets lost within minutes. Along with the day’s newspaper, most of the wedding invitations find their final resting place – the paper recycle box.

The other problem is managing RSVPs. Some people call to confirm, some would chose to send a message, but there is no way to track who is coming to your wedding, who needs accommodation & who might not be able to make it.

The Solution?

1. A Video Invite

So you want to make an impression, you don’t mind spending a substantial amount on your wedding invitation but you want to be eco-friendly. The Video invitation is the solution.

Have a look at this e-invitation that we created for a couple getting married in Pune, recently. The best thing with the short film is that – you connect directly to the people whom you are inviting, it is very personal – which a paper invite would not come close to, unless you deliver it in person.

The second big advantage is – that you can easily post your RSVP/FB Invite link along with the Film. This ensures that you can track the guest list. I know, it’s still uncommon in India for people to actually take the extra minute to RSVP, but it’s a catching trend, and people are more aware about saying a Yes or a No – to help the hosts plan better.

Watch this. And If you want one for your wedding, drop us a message : HERE.

2. A Simple Email with a Picture/Save-the-date graphic

It doesn’t take too much to make a Save-the-Date wedding invitation & send it over email to your favourite people. All you need to do is – Pick your favourite photograph, add some details on it & send it out on email. You can use FB Events to create an RSVP and control it’s privacy too.

There you have it.

You can choose to Go Green for your wedding invitation or pick the most flamboyant of the cards, but make sure you keep the environment in mind while making the decision 🙂 And don’t forget to use your #hastags & Have lots of Fun. <3
