Nikita & Nischal’s Engagement Session at Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad

In  Featured  /  Lifestyle Photoshoot

Nikita and Nischal have been together for seven years and they decided to get married this November in their hometown – Hyderabad – the city of the Nizams. Nikita is a Gujarati while Nischal a Marwari, their friends from all over the world – their wedding was a diverse, multi-cultural event, with everyone having fun at each and every ceremony and event.

Before all the fun began, Nikita and Nischal took some quiet time out and spent a day as the guests of the Nizam at his palace – the Falaknuma. They lived a day in the life of Royalty – starting with a custom made breakfast – a guided tour, with a historian regaling them with the stories from the Nizams’ past – the grandeur taking us all in – and calling it a day with a ride in the royal buggy. Here’s some memories from a day we spent with the dashing Nizam (for a few hours) of the palace and his very beautiful begum.

I thought you couldn’t take pictures inside the Falaknuma Palace (that’s what they told us)! But, oh well, as Ramit said – since y’all were Prince and Princess for a day, I guess they made an exception!

The pictures are fantastic – too much smiling/laughter for my taste, considering the seriousness of the occasion :).
