Ritika & Himanshi were the latest entrants in the Where is the Love giveaway we had at Ramit Batra {Photography}. Their description of their sisterly bond had everything sweet and cute about it – including the little fights, as well as having each others’ back. I for one, suddenly felt sad at not having grown up with a big sister around. Their picture and their story warmed up to so many people that they were among the top 5 contestants within a couple of days of having entered the contest, and they remained in the top 5 till the very last.
The response to the Lifestyle Photoshoot giveaway was so overwhelming that we actually decided that instead of giving away just one prize, we would be giving five photoshoots. Ritika & Himanshi bagged the fifth prize and had a Fun photoshoot at Dilli Haat.
We picked Dilli Haat as that would be the best kind of place to capture their young, dynamic and spirited selves – not one bit shy of the camera. And it made for a good choice of place except for the weather which was determined at playing spoil-sport with the big hard sun beating down all of us. Yet, not once during the shoot did we feel uncomfortable, like we were meeting them for the first time, there were no awkward silences and what shall we do next moments – we have all their vibrant and vivacious pictures to show for it.
