Taj Jai Mahal Palace Jaipur – Destination Wedding Photography & Film

Taj Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur is a fabulous wedding destination which is not only convenient in terms of logistics, but a photographer’s delight! Built in 1745, this Palace is a beautiful piece of Rajasthan’s heritage, a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture set amidst landscaped Mughal gardens. Taj Jai Mahal Palace has been the residence of three Prime Ministers of the princely state of Jaipur before it was restored and turned into a luxury five-star Taj heritage hotel equipped with all modern-day comforts. The Palace has 94 rooms and six suites offer you unbeatable views of the city and palace gardens, and can easily host 100 guests. In terms of logistics, it is perfectly located in the heart of the Pink City in Civil Lines, giving the guests proximity to shopping areas and prime historical sites such as Amber Fort, HawaMahal and City Palace. With the new Jaipur airport having connecting flights from all over India a mere 30mins away, this is a great choice for an unmatched royal destination wedding experience.

Megha & Mikhil’s wedding was a blend of royalty, fun, music, a lot of emotions, drinking & dancing. The splendid decor planned and executed by Opus (Sidhartha Mehta) – with brilliant entertainers, musicians & artists made it a one-stop-India-experience for the guests which had flown in from all over the Globe! The main events of the 3-day wedding were – a Welcome brunch followed by a Cocktail Night, Pool-side mehendi event for the Bride’s side & a Carnival for the Groom’s side followed by fabulous Sangeet & Performances by the family. The wedding day started with Haldi & Maira in the morning and sunset feras before the Reception with live music. The Sabyasachi Bride & Groom – really looked like royalty with the perfect Palace backdrop! The wedding weekend ended with a crazy Pyjama-afterparty which went on till sunrise – and was full of energy despite being the last event of the wedding marathon! A Big Thank you to my dear friend, wedding photographer & sheikh – Anshum Mandore to trust me with this big destination wedding in their family. And of course, The Rankas & The Lohias – for being such wonderful clients & families to work with. Our team & myself – can’t thank you enough for your hospitality, love & appreciation for our work. It means a lot to us.

Oh.. I am going to stop writing and let you guys enjoy the film. It is a very special edit in terms of our style, and the longest wedding film that we have made so far. Hope you enjoy this 11-min film & the photographs that follow. Please do share your feedback/notes or just feel free to say hello – just to let us know you saw this! 🙂

Click on the ‘Gear’ icon in bottom right and select 1080p (Full HD) for the best audio-video experience. You may need a fast internet connection for the same.
